Joining again with Kate and the others to celebrate putting our crafty scraps to good use. Link here-https://talltalesfromchiconia.wordpress.com/2022/09/15/scraphappy-september-6/
Today I am using leftover yarn to knit something I have wanted to knit for years and years- a Topsy Turvey Cinderella doll. Sorry she’s only in the early stages of creation, hopefully more to share next month.

A Jean Greenhowe pattern?
Indeed it is!
Delightful!
I already love it from the picture you have to work from. I love the peach body color too. Little miss P is going to love it.
Thank you
Always enjoyable to finally get round to a long anticipated project. Hope you have fun with it.
Still a child at heart!
Love it 😍
Thank you, a fun project.
This is a great way to use up leftover yarns!
My favourite way !
That looks fun and challenging, congratulations on starting that project!
Just needed the right little girl and the right time.
I like topsy-turvy dolls…will she have a lovely ball dress?
Yes she will. Looking forward to making her.
I made that Cinderella doll for my granddaughter. https://rainbowjunkiecorner.wordpress.com/2012/06/13/toys-for-my-granddaughter/ It is a great pattern. Sure it will be popular.
I love these patterns, so well written! Excited for this one.
brings back memories of childhood – I had a topsy turvy Red Riding Hood doll, grandma on one side and wolf on the other ^^
Oh my that must have been a super toy, but a bit scary perhaps?
I always think small children enjoy being a little bit scared ^^
Looking forward to seeing the finished Cinderella…..don’t knit after midnight because you never know what might happen!
Ooh Prince Charming might return my shoe!
I know you knit loads of things for children in the family but sometimes it is such fun to make a toy and your cindarella doll will be adorable.
Can’t resist a novelty knit!
Oh, I remember these! You turn her over, and she’s in her ballgown! What a fun project 😊 What lucky girl is going to get her?
Little Miss P! The Queen I made her was a huge hit, so she is the perfect recipient.
She’s going to be thrilled.
What fun! For a person who doesn’t knit, (me, not you!) this is magic.
Magic? I’ll take that, thank you.
Such perfect tension! I’m sure your Cindarella is going to be a big hit 🙂
Thank you, hope so.
