Wool, Wiltshire and All Manner of Wonderful Things!

Still playing with my scraps of yarn.

Twenty Five little hats for Age UK- fundraising through Innocent Smoothies.

And still most of the jar of small balls remaining. So onto the next appeal from a local care home for fish to put into an aquarium, who can resist?

Not me for sure!

Joining with Kate and others for Scrap Happy Day. Added bonus, Mr E putting in the runner beans. Did you spot him?

What a great collection of little hats

  3. Well that’s a bit of fun. A friend here made several hundred over the last couple of years – she says she can’t knit anything bigger because she gets bored!

  4. Lovely hats for the aged – your too kind and the locals will love them. The tiny fishes intrigue me, witll they be dangled from the lid of the aquarium, I presume no water in this tank.

  5. love the picture of all the tiny touques and the fish are great fun.

  6. They look great! It’s so obvious how much love you put into them, wow. (What is the pattern on the black and white one?) The fish look so cute as well – how cool that the local homes put out so many requests for volunteers! I checked with the ones in our near vicinity, but they don’t do that for some reason (which is okay, of course)

    • For the Black and white one, I just alternated the colours. I think that the residents have been deprived of outside company during lockdown that the staff are appealing for things to bring cheer .

  7. These are very endearing! We’d call them touques in Canada – so “Cute Touques!”
On to the fish, what fun!

  8. All of those little hats just make me smile! They are so adorable!

  9. The tiny caps are just too cute. The fish look quite lovely too. I’ll take your word that the beans are in. πŸ˜‰ Old eyes.

  10. Clever you! The fish are very cute but I can’t imagine them actually “in” an aquarium. πŸ˜‰

  11. I just adore these teeny beanies, and the fish are also so charming. What a fantastic use of your scraps!

  12. What adorable little hats and so many! That yellow fish with blue stripes is lovely too.

  13. Knitting fishes for an aquarium, thatΒ΄s a great idea!

  14. Teensy knitting – is it a bit fiddly? I can’t wait to see what the knitted fish aquarium looks like – will you be able to get a photo?

  15. Wow – you have been productive. They all look so cute.
I did not spot your Garden Elf until you mentioned him. πŸ™‚
Far too busy marvelling at your production line.
Good to get a glimpse though – I will be looking out for more glimpses in your photos from now on! πŸ™‚
