Wool, Wiltshire and All Manner of Wonderful Things!

Friday Finish.

I think I have made one of my best things ever, and she is so sweet.

I just love her.

I will never be on the Great British Sewing Bee, but I am slowly improving.

Really pleased with seam join, and her underneath is just the same.
She just needs a name.

And here is a better shot of the cardigan I posted before, with flowers visible this time.

There they are.

Back tomorrow for Scrap Happy Day. Has anyone else finished a project this week? Love to hear about it.

  1. That is a very sweet stuffed animal! Oh and that cardigan is amazing!

  2. Bluebell. Violet. Petunia. She is adorable. Those eyes…

  3. Cute cardigan. And the elephant is so sweet!

  4. That is a much better shot of the cardigan. It’s even more stunning in this shot. Wish it fit me. 🙂 The little elephant is off the charts cute. I feel she’s a Lulu. First thing that came to mind when I saw her.

  5. She is so cute!

  6. Your little elephant is wonderful. I finally finished the hem on a sweater but it needs one more sleeve.

  9. She’s adorable! And that’s such a beautiful seam – it made me sigh!!

  10. How about Olivia Olifant? She’s a real cutie, with a very appealing expression. Love your work!

  11. A gorgeous little elephant, she looks so cute 🙂

  12. Ohhh … she is SO CUTE and adorable!!! And she really looks just like on the photograph of the kit! GREAT JOB!!

The sweater looks great with the flowers on. It’s super pretty! Great projects, both of them.

  13. What a triumph Cathy – those seams! So cute – does she have a name?
And the cardi is so pretty.
A couple of gorgeous gifts. 🙂

  14. I love it! What a cute little elephant! x

  15. Both lovely makes – the cardigan is especially lovely. Who will be the lucky recipients?

I finished my Fisherman’s Rib jumper but I’m not happy really – too lumpy, bumpy and one quite visible mistake. It will be a jumper for slouching around the house in which, actually, is what I wanted it for anyway so I’ll look on the bright side.

    • I keep things simple, currently using old tried and tested patterns. We all need clothes for home only, especially comfy ones.
Cardie for a baby in the making!
