  1. We’ve got the same shrub, can’t think of the name atm….

  2. We have spring here in Victoria – crocus, mini daffodils, mini iris, and our early Rhododendron! I loved your pictures – they are very hopeful!

  3. The daphne shrub must be sending lovely wafts of scent around. No wonder you have butterflies.

  4. I love spring and your forlorn patch will soon be full of blooms x

  5. Thanks for sharing your lovely flowers and butterfly! We still have full snow coverage here 🙂

Wow first butterfly. I have seen a bumblebee but no butterflies yet.

  7. Your garden looks wonderful! We had the first bees warming themselves up in the morning, and I am so looking forward to see the Magnolia trees in bloom!!

  8. I have seen the same breed of 🦋, a small tortoishell, though haven’t managed a photo. They are definitely a sign that Spring is waking up!

  9. There might as well be a spring – Winter’s on the way, hurray! It’s not full daylight any more at 5am. It’s cooler. Doggo and I can stay out longer on our walks without risking heatstroke. The Husband’s lawn mowing schedule will go down to once a fortnight. I’ll be able to prune and weed. I’ll actually get to wear socks and maybe a hoodie! Gosh, I’m really looking forward to it!

  10. Hello end of Winter and welcome in Spring (I am opening my door wide). Pretty exciting what is starting to happen in your garden!

  11. Your not so forlorn patch is looking very springy now. We have all those flowers and more but have yet to see a butterfly!! 🦋

  12. Your garden is looking lovely. We had some sunshine and then a hail storm!
