  1. Oh, what a good grandmother you are! I hope those cards are saved for when the children can appreciate the love and effort that went into them.

  2. I love cross stitch but can no longer see to do it. Those cards are adorable and hopefully mom and dad will save everyone of them. They will grow up knowing how much they are loved.

    wonderful use of scraps

  7. so cute, lovely to frame and hang on their bedroom walls.

  8. Adorable cards, can Toddler J really be three?!

  9. My seven-year-old granddaughter is enamoured of unicorns too! Lovely cards, they are perfect!

  10. Awww, they are so cute!!! The unicorn is really sweet and I totally love the monster!! Did you buy those as a kit or did you only get the patterns and made the cards yourself?

    • The charts were in a book I bought second hand- the Monster had a 6 originally but it was easy enough to stitch a 3 instead. I loved the Unicorn- and they are her passion at the moment.

      • That is beautiful! (And judging from my niece’s mom, the monster might be … pretty … accurate for a 3 year-old. Ahem. At times.)

  11. They will have made for two very happy grandchildren I’m sure. I have a cat who looks similar to the monster šŸ˜¼

I’m always amazed at how little thread & aida you need to stitch a beautiful card – so excellent use of scraps & leftover threads^^

  13. What lovely cards and both suited to the recipient I assume!

    • Thank you- Miss F asked for all things Unicorn for her birthday so I think I hit the brief. toddler J does roar around the place…

  14. Oh, well done! I’m particularly in love with the Monster!

    • I meant to show the book I got them from- bought second hand from Pckering library for Ā£1- the monster was on the front and I just knew I had to stitch it.

  15. These are so sweet!

  16. Gorgeous cards to keep forever.
