Not surprisingly there has not been much sewing going on here. But I have finished one more card. This is for Mr B and Mrs G’s first wedding anniversary. Aida and floss left over from other projects- in the case of the green I was playing floss chicken and won.

What a lovely and treasurable card this is. I’d keep and frame it.
That is the sweetest card! Love it.
Thank you, it made me smile while I stitched it.
Oh how sweet!
Thanks.
Aww … this is super cute!
Thanks
Cute. I keep resisting looking at my aida and embroidery silk scraps, as I need to stay focused on the Lanarte kit – if I get distracted, it’ll probably end up having anotehr 8 year rest.
8 years is nothing- I have moved house with a started cross stitch which moved with me in exactly the same condition 18 years ago! I have to get a grip.
š Do you think you’ll ever finish it?
Who knows- I do like it.
š
so cute, I hope they keep it as a precious memory. Think we all play chicken occasionally, glad you won.
I posted it early, and they have opened it early and seemed genuinely thrilled.
Cute! And congratulations on winning the game of chicken! I’ve played that before (and lost!).
It was touch and go I can tell you- less than an inch by the end.
Cute card and congrats on winning the game of floss chicken!
It felt like a good use of scrap floss which was leftover from a kit!
Adorable and very impressive under the circumstances.
Thank you. I was determined to finish the card. I was thrilled to find the double sided tape in the box I thought it was.
That is such a cute card! What a neat idea š
Chart came from a 20 year old magazine, just shows things are worth hanging onto.
Very true!
So cute!
Thanks.
There’s one for their memory box. Adorable x
Thank you- I still have our first anniversary cards, so hopefully this will make their memory box.
Mr B and Mrs G are going to love this sweet hand made card!
Thank you.
awww who doesn’t love an elephant!
Can’t go wrong!
That’s very cute. X
They seemed to think so.
Cute! š
Thanks.
Very sweet! Daft how we put ourselves through the trauma of trying to just make it go the distance! I did a long seam on the overlock the other day thinking Iād get away with it but it ran out and I hadnāt noticed. š
Now that must have been a very big nuisance.
Awwww, very sweet. And yes, that green is challenging, but it works!
Thanks- hopefully I will have slightly more to share next month.
Unpacking permitting š
