  1. Oh how cute! Great photos! And all of the animals look fantastic!

  2. Brilliant! πŸ™‚

  3. The Big Five. Love it πŸ˜‰

  4. Love it, I think Kate’s idea of a story line is a great one πŸ™‚

  5. Now it’s time to start the story, and then photograph them for the illustrations. A special book for your grands for Christmas maybe?

  6. I love them. They look so cute in their jungle. Thanks for the smile.

  7. Does Mr E not realise that you’re adding to the biodiversity of your garden, which is a Good Thing? Of course, they are introduced species, but they certainly add to the colour and interest!

They are soooo adorable – definitely not lost the plot:)

  9. Oh that is such fun! Your little menagerie is bright and cheerful and welcoming – if you are going to lose the plot that is exactly the way to do it πŸ˜€ Absolutely delightful to see ❀

  10. I just love this, thanks for making me smile. I love the second one (lion?) and the group looks really cute – are you thinking of adding any more to the safari? πŸ™‚

  11. Tell Mr. E. that it’s a new and exciting way of getting your daily dose of Vitamin D.

  12. Thanks for the smile πŸ˜€

  13. Great fun! I especially like the way your alligator looks so alert watching out for any one whose stupid enough to venture the other side of the reeds!

is it the idea of having a safari park in the back garden that worries him? or the fact it’s a crocheted safari park? lol

    • It’s that I thought it perfectly reasonable to have a safari park in the garden.

      • Well, that crocodile does look particularly vicious πŸ˜‰

Actually, I think it’s a marvellous idea. I have a crocheted snake which is supposed to be a draught excluder – maybe that could grace the garden for a while!

        • The croc is my favourite too. I think your snake would love a slither in the garden!

          • I’m sure it would!

The croc reminds me of the multitude of them in my sister’s house. In particular, when my daughter was a baby, we went to shopping outlet with my sister and family as well as our parents and her kids got a massive crocodile each. They are both adults now and I think they’d cringe at the memory 😁
