I simply had to make a second cushion from the the Eastern Jewels left over yarn.
Front
Back.
And now I have more winter colour in the house with two cushions
And still there is yarn leftover. Another cushion?
No, this time I shall add some leftover yarn I had from other projects and will make a blanket for charity as suggested by Dr Snail.

Your cushions are lovely. Love the bright cheery colours. Thanks for joining in my party for December.
Adore the granny squares cushions.
The motif is simple buy beautiful, specially when the colors are nicely combined.
A great work¡¡¡

Thanks Gema.
I love those bright colors! I am glad your pillow got a mate!
What a lovely pair of cushions! Very bright and cheerful
Love these, especially in the winter time!!!
Such happy, jazzy pillows!
They are gorgeous and so is your little header picture.
Thank you so much. The elf still lives with me but Father Christmas is with grandchildren.
Perfect for cheering up a grey, wet December day:-)
Indeed they do. Thank you.
Lovely cushions! Reminds me that I need to get going on to trying some granny squares… My goal for 2019 😉 A leftover blanket sounds lovely. I need to do one of those, too,
I love granny squares, quick and easy to make. I look forward to seeing yours next year.
I want one! Haha ~ they are just gorgeous. 🙂 X
Thank you, very simple to make!
Very colourful! I had so much yarn left over from my forays into blanket making this past year that I made a poncho, a mandala and half a cardigan! It’s fun isn’t it 🙂
Sometimes I think I am a little ridiculous as I love making things with leftover yarn and fabric far more than the making of the original item. It’s just more fun. You did very well to get a poncho, a mandala and half a cardigan from leftover yarn.
So cheerful! and they will go so well with the blanket.
Thank you and they do.
Maybe they’ll grow on Mr. E. These are gorgeous, and will surely brighten up winter months!
Hate to sound like a dunce, but I am. Could you point me to this pattern, if it is on-line? Many thanks!
The pattern comes from The Patchwork Heart. If you look on my Scrap Happy November post there is a direct link. But all it is a granny square turned round, ever so easy.
There is a surprising amount of yarn leftover from the blanket kit isn’t there? That’s why (in the fullness of time) I’m going to make another one using the leftovers plus 3 or 4 new balls of yarn. I gave my first one away though so I have a good excuse.
I don’t think I would make another which is why mine is for me.
They make a lovely pair!
Thank you.
you’re certainly making the most of your leftovers!
I know, pretty good going.
Gorgeous, but I think the Snail has the right idea – any more of those fabulous cushions and you’ll be needed sunglasses (cushion envy talking here…)
Not sure Mr E is keen on the two we have got!
