Yarn, Yorkshire and All Manner of Wonderful Things!

Yarn Along!

So glad Yarn Along is back.

I am really enjoying The 19th Wife. I will do a review at the end of the month. Having finished the dragon I am now knitting some small squares to make a cushion. I am trying different patterns so it a kind of a sampler cushion, and using cotton yarn which is not my favourite but maybe I will get used to it.

To see what others are knitting and reading have a look at Small Things.

Big day tomorrow with Mr E’s Op, hopefully I will have good news for my next Knit and Natter. Take care,xx

  1. Sending best wishes to you both 🙂

  2. Sending healing vibes to Mr E. Is he taking Arnica? It works wonders for after op healing.

  3. I’ve been wanting to read The 19th Wife! I’ll have to check it out.

  4. Yes, what Sandra said – arnica is just the best little helper out there. Best wishes to you all – and the photo is lovely!

  8. Very best wishes for tomorrow ❤

  9. Praying for Mr E!

  10. I am housebound today – very thick snow outside and it’s still coming down and we’re on top of a hill – so I might get my next pair of p.j.s started and maybe some more of my Eastern Jewels blanket.
I’m glad you are enjoying your book – I look forward to your review because I know I’ve read it and liked it but can’t remember it so you will remind me. I’ve finished ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ now which I enjoyed a lot – very disturbing though.
I wish you both the very best for tomorrow and hope that everything goes perfectly.

  11. All the best to Mr. E. Keeping him and you both in my thoughts. xx

  12. I hope the operation goes smoothly–we will all want an update!

  13. All best wishes for a good outcome to Mr E’s opp. Be good to hear how it goes and to see the finished cushion.

  14. I agree, I am so happy the yarnalong is back! I hope that everything turns out well! Fast healing!

  15. Sorry I’m late here. Hope Mr E’s op went well.
Cotton is not my favourite either – not least because it likes to grow when you wash it 😦
