I am not an early bird by any means and for me to see sunrise is rare, but much easier in January!
Nature is amazing!
Knit and Natter Friday!
so beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you AJ.
Beautiful photos Cathy
Unbelievably beautiful. Takes your breath away. Hope you enjoy more sunrises soon ❤
Thanks. I hope so too.
Lovely photo Cathy, the colours are beautiful, well worth donning wellies and dressing gown 🙂
It was, thank you
Beautiful. Does that mean the rain stopped for a bit?
Certainly does. We have had snow all day today.
Sorry, bit slow to reply here. Assume the snow has been replaced by rain now?
A bit of rain, followed by warmer grey days. Snow all went yesterday. Now it’s just very soggy everywhere.
Beautiful sunrise photos!
Beautiful!! We’ve had some similar sunrises lately. It just sets the tone for an amazing day, doesn’t it? Especially when you capture it on ‘film’. 🙂
So worth going out in the snow to capture it.
Worth getting out of bed for.
What a pretty start to the day! I agree it is much easier to watch the sunrise in the winter. 😉
It was a great way to start the day.
How beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you like them.
Such beautiful colours. 🙂
Thanks, I agree
I’m always up in time for a sunrise . . . but our house faces northwest so I don’t really get the benefit. We see sunsets, though, and they can be just as spectacular. Your sunrise would be hard to beat!
It was amazing.
Such gorgeous colours. Xx
Lovely photographs. I lie in too late for sunrise
Me too usually!
Gorgeous colour, but if you saw it in a painting you’d think the artist had a heavy hand with the tubes of paint! It does look nice and cool to this sweltering Aussie.
Nice and cool Kate? I went in the garden in the snow in my dressing gown and wellies to get this picture. And only because I rarely am awake in time to see the sun wake up. Loved it though and worth it.
‘Red sky in the morning – shepherd’s warning’ ?? I think those shepherd’s might work for the tabloids these days as I amuse myself over here by reading the headlines that pop up when I turn the computer on in the morning. In the winter it’ll be something like ‘UK CHILLED BY ARCTIC BLAST – DANGER TO LIFE’ or ‘UK COLDER THAN MOSCOW’. In summer – ‘BRITAIN HOTTER THAN IBIZA’. The other day was a corker though – I laughed out loud – ‘THREE DAYS OF HAIL AND SNOW FOR SOME – BUT FOR OTHERS IT WILL BE HOTTER THAN MADRID AND ISTANBUL’. That should have it all covered then 😉
Anyway, could your first photo be anywhere but England? There’s just something about it. Lovely.
Thanks. We Brits are totally obsessed by the weather!
What beautiful vibrant colours
It was totally stunning.
So beautiful. We have lots of rain here down south. Have a lovely day 🌼🌼🌼
That’s a very pretty sunrise! Did it portend rain? I particularly like the first photo of the silhouetted buildings but then the shot through the trees is equally lovely………. I love to watch the sun rise – it’s still a tad too early for me at the moment coming up before 5.30. Won’t be long though and I’ll be up before it again.
It was around 7am. The first shot was taken from the bedroom window, but then I donned wellies and went out into the garden. there was snow on the ground, it was pretty cold, but worth it.
Wow!!! Gorgeous. Yes nature is truly amazing. The chance of a fabulous light show at the beginning and end of each day.
Thank you, I am usually either asleep or we have a grey day!
