  4. I wonder if that spot was particularly loved by the Nan?

    • It is quite a curious location really, in a field quite a way from habitation. I wasn’t certain if it had been chosen for its remoteness or as you suggest a favourite walk/spot. I shall never know, but coming across it as I did it seeemed very poignant. And the little dog, was it by her door originally? Or was the dog called Nan, like in Peter pan?
