Corfe Castle

When I saw this post at Wild Daffodil from Corfe Castle , I just had to visit. And it didn’t disappoint.

The keep just dominates the countryside for miles around.

  1. Oh, how exciting! You went there. So glad you enjoyed your visit, and it looks like you had a lovely day for it too. Thank so much for the link.xxxxx

    • It was a wonderful day out. We had tea in the NT garden and it was lovely. Thank you for posting it originally.

      • I took 2 grandchildren to Corfe Model Village and tearooms yesterday – absolutely wonderful for the children with lots to see and lawn games for them to play – and we voted the toasted sandwiches ‘the best ever’! Highly recommended!

  2. Of course that’s the great thing about castles, built on hills so the views are fab.

  3. Cream tea – that’s one of the best place to get one from a cafe nearby.
