Absolutely, but I like yours best.
I’ve never thought to use them as a cut flower before, and they work quite well, they still seem to be growing in the vase, rather like tulips do, but upright. Your bloom looks much more fulsome and macho than mine! ha! ha!
I wouldn’t have thought to use them as a cut flower either. The sparrows love eating them so much I wouldn’t have the heart to deprive them. I had to pick a lovely salmon pink lupin today which had been snapped in the wind.
The pesky sparrows seem to eat just about everything in my garden, so I don’t feel so fondly towards them!
